DUSHANBE, December 31, Asia-Plus – The Dushanbe mayor’s office has supported rehabilitation of the boiler heating system at orphanage # 1.

Shavkat Saidov, a spokesman for the Dushanbe mayor, said that the orphanage’s heating system had not functioned since 1992.  “The mayor’s office has provided 23,400 somonis to purchase a new boiler heating system for the orphanage,” the spokesman said.  

According to him, the Dushanbe electric system has installed a new transformer to supply electrical power to the orphanage via separate power-transmission line.
