DUSHANBE, December 4, Asia-Plus — Tajikistan’s Drug Control Agency (DCA) seized 1,398 kilograms of drugs in 2006.

According to the DCA press service, the totaled included more than 506 kilograms of heroin, 640 kilograms of raw opium and 251 kilograms of cannabis. 

Besides, officers from the country’s counternarcotics agency seized three explosives, 15 firearms and 928 bullets of different caliber.
