DUSHANBE, February 12, Asia-Plus –The board (Shuro) of Tajikistan’s lower chamber (Majlisi Namoyandagon) of parliament considered a new bill on public associations at a February 12 meeting presided over by its speaker Saydullo Khairulloyev. 

Muhammadato Sultonov, a spokesman for the Majlisi Namoyandagon, said that the board also considered a new bill on investments and bills requiring amendments to the laws on defense, valuation of lands as well as land-tenure regulations.  

Some of these issues will be considered at the third session of the Majlisi Namoyandagon on February 14, Sultonov said.
