DUSHANBE, February 19, Asia-Plus — Tajikistan MFA presents its new website today afternoon, according to the MFA Information Department.

The MFA Information Department also said that a delegation of Japan’s International Cooperation Agency (JICA) had arrived in Tajikistan to discuss with Tajik officials issues related to the beginning of construction of the road from Dusti to Panji Poyon in the Khatlon province.  

Besides, the European Union (EU) Special Representative for Central Asia Pierre Morel is expected to arrive in Tajikistan on February 22 for a two-day working visit, according to MFA.  During his stay in Dushanbe, EU Special  Envoy is scheduled to hold talks with President Emomali Rahmonov, Foreign Minister Hamrokhon Zaripov, Drug Control Agency Director Rustam Nazarov and senior representatives from the State Committee for National Security.

A delegation of Austrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs is also scheduled to visit Tajikistan from February 22-23.  The Austrian delegation will hold meetings with Erkin Rahmatulloyev, State Adviser to the Tajik President for International Matters, Matlubkhon Davlatov, State Adviser to the Tajik President for Economic Matters, and a number of senior representatives from Tajik MFA.
