DUSHANBE, March 6, Asia-Plus – Russian Ambassador to Tajikistan Ramazan Abdulatipov has been elected foreign full member of the Tajik Academy of Sciences.  

A board meeting of Tajikistan’s Academy of Sciences that was held yesterday unanimously elected Ramazan Abdulatipov as the full member of the country’s Academy. 

During the meeting it was noted that Doctor of Sciences in Philosophy Ramazan Abdulatipov had made important contribution to development of social sciences and strengthening of Russia-Tajik cooperation in the field of science.  

Ramazan Abdulatipov is known in scientific circles of Russia and Tajikistan by its works such as “Federalism in History of Russia” “Paradoxes of Sovereignty”, “Federative System of Russia”, “National Issue and State System of Russia”, etc.   

Ambassador Abdulatipov telling the meeting proposed to launch seminar formally titled “Modern Socio-Philosophical Studies” at the Tajik Academy of Sciences that would work on a permanent basis.
