DUSHANBE, March 15, Asia-Plus – Tajikistan and Russia ought to expand information interaction, Tajik journalists and senior representatives from Russia’s news agency RIA Novosti remarked at a meeting in the Tajik Embassy in Moscow on March 14. 

Muhammad Egamzod, press secretary of the Tajik Embassy in Moscow, noted that the Tajik Embassy had staged the meeting.  

According to him, the meeting focused on priorities of information cooperation between Tajikistan and Russia.  Participants at the meeting pointed to the necessity of expanding a range of contacts and exchange of information between the media of the two countries.  

“During the meeting it was noted that unbiased coverage of events taking place in Russia and Tajikistan could promote further expansion of bilateral cooperation between the two countries,” Egamzod said.  

We will recall that twelve media representatives from Tajikistan have been on visit to Moscow by invitation of RIA Novosti to discuss with a number of Russian agencies cooperation issues.
