DUSHANBE, April 2, Asia-Plus – The Public Foundation Arbitrazh has announced a media contest on coverage of the arbitration courts subject. 

Nigora Astanova, public relations coordinator, Public Foundation Arbitrazh, said that only materials published in print media and aired on electronic media in April-June this year will participate in the contest.    

According to her, journalists in their works should touch upon activities of legal support centers operating in Tursunzoda, Khujand, Panjakent, Istaravshan, Kulob, Qurghon Teppa, Hissor, Ayni, Bobojonghafurov and Shahritus.    

She said that the contest results will be summed up in July and the 1st place will receive 200 somonis, 2nd place – 150 somonis and 3rd place – 10 somonis.  

The Public Foundation for the development of third party arbitration courts and legal support centers, Arbitrazh, is organized on a local, national and international level to address issues in support of the public good. 

The Public Foundation Arbitrazh was registered with the Ministry of Justice (MoJ) of Tajikistan on November 14, 2005.  Currently the Arbitrazh Public foundation is implementing the Support to the Development of Third Party Arbitration Courts (TPAC) Project in Tajikistan, funded by DFID.  The Arbitrazh promotes its activity in six regions of Tajikistan resolving disputes and problems of people.
