Head of state issues order to provide nearly 1.5 somonis from his reserve fund to pay extraordinary grants to war veterans

DUSHANBE, May 4, Asia-Plus – President Emomali Rahmon has issued an order to provide 1,469,100 somonis from the Presidential Reserve Fund to pay extraordinary grants to 4,897 veterans and invalids of the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 living in Tajikistan, presidential press service said.  

Under this order, the war veterans will receive 300 somonis each. 

The Ministry of Finance (MoF) is to provide the mentioned funds to President’s Executive Office, which is tasked to provide targeted use of the allocated funds and submit report on expenses made to the MoF.
