DUSAHNBE, June 6, Asia-Plus – The 17th session of the Eurasian Economic Community (EAEC) council of the heads of central banks will be held in Dushanbe on June 7.  

Press service of the National Bank of Tajikistan (NBT) said that the session is aiming to consider issues related to monetary cooperation between member nations of the Community as well as a progress of implementation of resolutions passed at the 16th session.  The session will also discuss the issue of international money transfers, approaches to organization of management of transaction risks, practice of formation of reserves in the case of possible losses and other issues being of mutual interest.   

According to Tajik central bank, national bank heads from Tajikistan, Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyztan, Uzbekistan, as well as Kazakhstan’s Agency for Regulating and Supervising Financial Market and Financial Organizations, Eurasian Development Bank and the EAEC Integration Committee.
