DUSHANBE, June 18, Asia-Plus — A new TV channel “Simoi Mustaqili Tojikiston” (Independent TV of Tajikistan) was presented in Dushanbe today.  

TV channel editor Voris Nazar told Asia-Plus that the channel will try to find a niche for itself in the information space of the country and provide the real coverage of events in Tajikistan.

 According to him, a large number of the author’s programs will differ their channel from other TV stations operating in the country.  The channel will run its programs in the Tajik language two hours in the morning (from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m.) and six hours in the evening (from 18:00 to 24:00).
