DUSHANBE, June 19, Asia-Plus – On Monday June 18, Tajik Foreign Minister received visiting Director of China’s Institute for Eurasian Development Studies Li Fanlin, Tajik MFA said.   

The source at Tajik MFA said that the talks had focused on a broad range of issues related to bilateral cooperation between the two countries. 

During the meeting, the two also exchanged views on a number of international and regional issues being of mutual interest.  They, in particular, discussed state and prospects of further interregional trade and economic cooperation, dynamic of international relations in Central Asia and Afghanistan, as well as strengthening of integration processes within the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO).

Zarifi and Li outlined sectors like transport, communications and energy as areas of which could drive the bilateral economic cooperation between the two countries.
