The Young Journalists Development Organization head Amrullo Nizomov told Asia-Plus that the main objective of his organization is to unite young journalists in the country.  “We have decided to take our fortune in our hands,” said Nizomov, “There is a certain gap between young journalists (students) and media, and our task is to shorten this gap, acting as bridge between them.”

According to him, they will also organize meetings of young inexperienced aspirants with professional journalists, theoretical and practical training for young journalists, etc.  “We also plan to found a monthly, which will publish materials by young journalists,” Nizomov said.

He added that besides three founders, who are the fifth-year students of the Faculty of Journalism at Tajik National University, 15 young journalists are ready to join the organization, which has already been registered with the Ministry of Justice.  “Tajik Journalists’ Union has also promised to provide assistance us,” Nizomov said.
