The source at the Restorers without Borders – Republic of Tajikistan said that the festival that is part of their program for innovative development of museums will bring together painters, photographers and designers from Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, as well as Iran, the United States and a number of European countries.  The Pamir Botanical Gardens in Khorog is participants of this program, which is implemented under financial support of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) in Tajikistan, according to him.

“The festival will give its participants an opportunity to meet, exchange views and create long-term professional ties and unite with each other into creative organizations,” the source said.

The project participants are supposed to work on creation of “a new modern and topical vision of nature,” according to him.  “They will be absolutely free in creative expression, methods and types of work; the event will end with an art festival in the open air on August 23,” the source said.
