DUSHANBE, August 27, Asia-Plus — The results of the competition “The Best Park of Tajikistan” will be summed up at the end of August, according to the Ministry of Culture (MoC).

The source at a MoC said that the competition timed to coincide with the 16th anniversary to Tajikistan’s Independence was announced in March this year.  An awards ceremony will be held at the third round of competition that will be held on August 30-31.

According to the source, parks of Isfara, Kulob, Vahdat, Tursunzoda, Qurghon Teppa and Hissor have been selected to participate at the third, final round of the competition.

Three best parks of the country will be awarded 2,000 somonis, 1,500 somonis and 1,000 somonis in prize money respectively.
