DUSHANBE, August 27, Asia-Plus — Visiting delegation of representatives from the Chinese Communist held talks with Davlatali Davlatzoda, the first deputy head f Tajikistan’s ruling People’s democratic Party (PDPT)  in Dushanbe Monday morning.  

Davlatzoda said in an interview with Asia-Plus that the meeting had discussed issues related to boosting bilateral ties between the ruling parties o the two countries. 

“This, in turns, will strengthen cooperation between Tajikistan and China,” Davlatzoda said, adding that their party has special relations with the Chinese Communist Party, annually exchanging mutual visits. 

He further added that during its stay in Dushanbe, the Chinese delegation does not intend to meet with representatives from other political parties of the country, including the Communist Party (CPT), because it is in Tajikistan by invitation of the PDPT. 

According to him, the delegation of Chinese Communists also plans to meet with President Emomali Rahmon, who heads the PDPT.  

Chinese Communists’ visit to Tajikistan will last till August 30.
