DUSHANBE, September 13, Asia-Plus — Representatives from Kazakhstan’s scientific and production firm Mediland and Institute for Advanced Training of Physicians Medical Workers visited Dushanbe at the end of last week to establish cooperation with Tajik colleagues, press service of the Ministry of Health (MoH) said.   

Kazakh specialists visited Tajikistan by invitation of the Republican Endocrinology Center.  During their stay in Dushanbe, they held talks senior representatives from a MoH to discuss establishment of cooperation, including delivery of high-quality glucometers and diabetes products to Tajikistan.  

Mediland’s specialists also conducted a seminar for endocrinologists on principles of controlling diabetes.  79 specialists from all regions of the country took part in this seminar.  

Established in 1993, the scientific and production firm Mediland is engaged in supply of the lab equipment, consumables and chemicals.  The company also makes an installation, warranty and post-warranty service.  Mediland is an exclusive representative in Kazakhstan of the company Laborbedarf Weigand GmbH – one of the big German exporters of the laboratory equipment and consumables for the quality control laboratories – microscopes, spectrophotometers, pH – meters, analytical balances, magnetic stirrers, vacuum evaporators, glass and plastic lab ware and many others.
