DUSHANBE, September 14, Asia-Plus — Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Tajikistan to Germany Imomuddin Sattorov on September 12 presented credentials to President Horst Koehler, press release issued by Tajik Embassy in Berlin said.  

In the course of the talks the two discussed a broad range of issues related to bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and Germany as well as Tajikistan’s support for reconstruction of Tajikistan’s economy.  

Tajik ambassador also briefed German president on the present political and socioeconomic situation in Tajikistan.   

During the meeting, the two underlined the importance and timeliness of adoption the document “The European Union and Central Asia: Strategy of New Partnership.”
