DUSHANBE, September 19, Asia-Plus — Tajikistan has announced a tender for conducting feasibility study for rehabilitation of the road Kulob-Darvoz, which is 98 kilometers in length, Asia-plus ahs learned at the Ministry of Transport and Communications (MoTC).

The source at a MoTC said that five foreign companies have to date lodged applications for participating in the tender.  The tender’s results will be known in a month. 

Referring to the drop in the transit time by four to five hours, the source said that the project would provide link to highways leading to Kyrgyzstan, China and other countries.
