International exhibition “Tajikistan Infrastructure 2007” opens in Tajik capital today

DUSHANBE, November 21, Asia-Plus  — The 2nd International Exhibition and Conference entitled “Tajikistan Infrastructure 2007” is opening at the Borbad Complex in Dushanbe today.  . 

Ms. Nazira Nazuriddinova, executive director of ITECA Osyo also manager of the InfoComExpo Tajikistan 2007 project, said in an interview with Asia-Plus that 45 companies from 20 countries, including Finland, Turkey, the United States, Germany, India, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, Belarus and others, are expected to participate at the exhibition. 

            According to her, primarily companies from the CIS states will participate in the exhibition, displaying their achievements in the mentioned sectors.        

            Ms. Nazuriddinova noted that the exhibition “Tajikistan Infrastructure 2007” that runs through November 23 consists of three separate specialized exhibitions: InfoComExpo – 2007; Power, Mining & Transportation — 2007; and Interfood Tajikistan – 2007.   

The main sectors of the InfoComExpo are: Mobile Communications, Fixed Lines Solutions; Satellite communications, Internet Technologies; Fiber Optic, Billing Systems; Telecoms & IT Software; Digital Switching Systems; Network Security & equipment; LAN/MAN/WAN; Access Technologies, Broadband Networks; Gateway, Antennas, Towers & Earth Stations; Cable & Ancillaries, Power Supply Equipment; Measurement equipment, Computer Telephony Integration; and Wireless Technologies/ WAP, Microwave Systems.

 The exhibition “Power, Mining & Transportation – 2007” includes three sectors: Power and Lightening – Power Tajikistan 2007; Mining World Tajikistan – 2007; and Transportation, Transit and Logistics – Transport Tajikistan 2007.  

The main sectors of the exhibition “Interfood Tajikistan -2007” are: Food Products; Drinks (soft); Food ingredients, supplements, spices; Equipment for food industry; Filtration equipment; Refrigerating equipment and sales auxiliary; and Equipment for bars, restaurants, hotels and supermarkets

The exhibition “Infrastructure Tajikistan 2007” is expected to be visited by more than 5,000 of visitors from Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkey, Iran, Afghanistan, Russia and Europe.

The main objectives of the “Tajikistan Infrastructure 2007” are the following: attracting of new companies, investments, development of the international and internal economic relations, revelation of the region’s potential, promotion of the state programs into transport, energy, mining branches of Tajikistan, as well as: establishment of new business relations;  information on one’s existence; estimation of the competitiveness of the company; studying of business activity of the competitors; to enhance the prestige of commercial mark; to receive the more complete information on the market; and to sell the goods/services directly.

 A parallel program includes seminars on development of information technologies that will be conducted by foreign experts.
