DUSHANBE, December 27, Asia-Plus  — A female drug peddler has been detained at the Khujand airport, press service of the Tajik Drug Control Agency said.

A 24-year-old woman from Sughd’s Mastchoh district was detained at the Khujand airport yesterday on suspicion of having been involved in drug trafficking.  She was arrested during an inspection of passengers on the Khujand-Novosibirsk (Russia) flight.   

According to the DCA press service, the peddler ingested 105 wraps of narcotic drug that tested positive to heroin weighing more than 500 grams.
