DUSHANBE, January 10, Asia-Plus  — On Wednesday January 9, Dushanbe Mayor Mahmadsaid Ubaidulloyev held talks with Qatari Ambassador to Tajikistan Hamad bin Ali Al-Hinzab and head of office of Qatar’s company Al-Diyar in Dushanbe Kamal Ismail Hejazi.   

Shavkat Saidov, a spokesman fro the capital mayor, said that in the course of the talks Ubaidulloyev had noted that opening of the Qatari Embassy in Dushanbe would promote expansion of bilateral cooperation between the two countries.   

The sides discussed issues related to allotting places in the Tajik capital for constructing the Qatari Embassy, general school, residential building and mosque named after Al-Bukhari, the spokesman said.  All these facilities will be built by Al-Diyar Investment Company.   

“Dushanbe municipal authorities are ready for mutually beneficial cooperation with Qatari companies and will give them opportunity to participate in implementation of various projects in Dushanbe,” the mayor said.
