DUSHANBE, February 25, Asia-Plus  — An annual meeting on the conflict settlement issues is currently being held at the OSCE Center in Dushanbe.  

According to Rukhshona Najmiddinova, Senior Public Relations Assistant at the OSCE Center in Dushanbe, visiting director of the OSCE Conflict Prevention Center, Mr. Herbert Salber is also participating in the event.  

The meeting participants include representatives from the Tajik and Finnish ministries of foreign affairs, the OSCE Center, as well as specialists in the conflict settlement issues.    

Mr. Salber, who arrived in Dushanbe yesterday evening, is scheduled to meet with Tajik researchers and journalists today evening.    

Mr. Herbert Salber, German career diplomat, was appointed Director of the OSCE Conflict Prevention Center on August 23, 2006.
