DUSHANBE, Febraury 28, Asia-Plus  — A republican seminar for boarding school principals has been held in Dushanbe.

Noilsho Nouraliyev, a spokesman for the Ministry of Education (MoE), said that the seminar that brought together boarding school principals from all regions of the country has discussed issues related to advanced experience and control of education process.

The seminar participants are considering schools regulations, education problems, as well as pupils’ self-administration and role of children’s public associations in improvement of education process, the spokesman said.

According to a MoE, 78 boarding schools, which are houses for totaling 8,834 orphan and disabled children as well as children from poor families, now function in Tajikistan.
