DUSHANBE, March 17, Asia-Plus — Eight nine-story residential buildings at the Hofiz Sherozi Street in Dushanbe will be put into exploitation on the even of Navrouz, Shavkat Saidov, a spokesman for the Dushanbe mayor, said in an interview with Asia-Plus.
According to him, Mayor Mahmadsaid Ubaidulloyev held a working meeting with presence of senior representatives from the Dushanbe mayor office today. During the meeting, it was noted that eight nine-story residential buildings with totaling 288 apartments will be put into exploitation on March 19.
The same day, the capital mayor will attend a groundbreaking ceremony for construction of new twelve 12-story residential buildings in Dushanbe’s Zarafshon area, the spokesman said.
Both local and international construction companies may participate in construction of the mentioned residential buildings in the Zarafshon area.
The meeting also considered issues related to a progress of improvement of the city on occasion of the Navrouz holiday.
