DUSHANBE, April 8, Asia-Plus  — 1,668.699 kilograms of drugs have been seized in Tajikistan over the first three months of this year, which is 28 percent more than in the same period of 2007, the chairperson of the information and analytical department within the Drug Control Agency (DCA), Colonel Olga Muravyova, said in an interview with Asia-Plus.

According to her, the totaled included some 418 kilograms of heroin, 774 kilograms of raw opium and 497 kilograms of cannabis.
