Art revival foundation established in Gorno Badakhshan

DUSHANBE, April 21, Asia-Plus –  By GBAO governor’s resolution an art revival foundation has been established in Khorog, Gorno Badakhshan. 

Muhiddin Payshanbiyev, the head of the GBAO culture directorate, said that the foundation is dedicated to support revival of the Badakhshan art and efficient use of cultural values in fostering young generation.  A special bank account has been opened at Amonatbonk (Tajikistan’s savings bank) for development of the foundation. 

The foundation’s organizers have called on local organizations and enterprises to make contribution to supporting revival of art in the region.
