DUSHANBE, April 21, Asia-Plus – The spring sowing campaign has been launched in Gorno Badakhshan.
According to the GBAO agriculture directorate, grains have to date been planted on 558 hectares, potatoes on 33 hectares and vegetables on 2 hectares.
In the Darvoz district, agricultural crops have been planted on 417 hectares, in Vanj – 113 hectares, Rushan – on 18 hectares, Shugnan – on 6 hectares, and Roshtqala – 4 hectares.
Areas under gain crops will have increased by 130 hectares this year, the source at the GBAO agriculture directorate said.
