DUSHANBE, April 25, Asia-Plus — President Emomali Rahmon proposed to introduce moratorium on various inspections of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) during the first two years of their activities. 

He remarked this while addressing the joint session of the parliament on April 25.  He pointed to the necessity of removing bureaucratic obstacles impeding development of small and medium businesses in the country.

The head of state suggested that tax services in the provinces should be engaged in registration of local SMEs.   

            Besides, he set the task to open branches of banks in remote mountain areas and recommended increasing a total amount of microlending to 2 billion somonis a year.   .
