Tajik FM, Pakistani Ambassador discuss opening of air routes

DUSHANBE, April 30, Asia-Plus  — Issues related to establishing permanent air routes between Tajikistan and Pakistan were discussed at a meeting of Foreign Minister Hamrokhon Zarifi with Pakistani Ambassador to Tajikistan, Mr. Khalid Usman Kaisar that was held in Dushanbe on April 25, information posted on the MFA website on April 30 said.  

In the course of the talks, the two also touched upon mutual visa-free travels of citizens of the two countries.   

Zarifi and Kaisar also discussed bilateral economic cooperation between Tajikistan and Pakistan as well as construction of hydroelectric power stations and power grid from Tajikistan to Pakistan via Afghanistan.
