DUSHANBE, May 28 Asia-Plus  — Suhrob Langariyev, who was detained in Kulob yesterday, controlled one of drug networks in Tajikistan, according to the public relations center at the State Committee for National Security (GKNB).   

“The law enforcement agencies found traces of Suhrob Langariyev while investigating a number of cases connected with illegally crossing the border and drug smuggling,” a statement released by the GKNB public relations center on May 28.   

The investigation established that transnational drug-trafficking group comprising nationals of Tajikistan and Afghanistan has been active on the Tajik-Afghan border Afghan-Tajik and one of drug networks in Tajikistan has been controlled by Suhrob Langariyev, according to the statement.
