KONIBODOM, July 4, 2008, Asia-Plus — By Sughd governor’s resolution 50,000 somonis (TJS) have been provided from the budget of the regional education directorate for purchase of necessary equipment and musical instruments for the Konibodom School of Art, the School principal Shuhrat Ergashev said in an interview with Asia-Plus.
This assistance will help improve the education process, the principal said.
The Konibodom School of Art was established on the basis of former children’s musical and draw and paint schools. The school having actor’s, dancing and folk music departments is now able to accommodate more than 200 pupils.
