DUSHANBE, July 21, 2008, Asia-Plus  — A working group for reviewing the draft plan of actions on laying and improving legal foundation of labor for 2010-2014 will meet in Minsk, Belarus, from July 22-23.

Ms. Maria Gutsalo, a spokeswoman for the CIS Executive Committee, told Asia-Plus today that the draft plan provides for working out 99 normative collections on different directions of socioeconomic types of activity, including “Machine Works”, “Development of Natural Resources and Exploration Works”, “Transportation Works”, etc.

“The draft plan was endorsed in general at the meeting of the CIS Consultative Council on Labor, Migration and Social Protection of the Population in June,” said the spokeswoman, “However, it was decided to specify sources of financing and their volumes, distribution of financial load among the main executors and co-executors of the normative collections, terms and volumes of works to be done.”  Therefore, the council members decided to review the project.
