China organizes exhibition in Dushanbe

DUSHANBE, July 29, 2008, Asia-Plus / — China’ national exhibition, entitled “Chinese-Tajik Trade and Investments”, opened at the Kokhi Vahdat State Complex in Dushanbe today.   

More than 70 large companies from six Chinese provinces are participating in the exhibition that is held in the space of 2,000 square meters.   Among them are China’s largest wireless and telecommunications manufacturer, ZTE, Tebian Electric Apparatus Stock Co., Ltd (TBEA), Huawei (telecommunications producer), China Road, etc.   

They have put on display their achievements in machinery, mining, telecommunications, jewelry and light industry at the fair, which runs through August 1.  

The exhibition organizers are China’s Ministry of Commerce, the Government of Tajikistan and Tajik Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI).  The Chinese Government has provided 2 million yuans for holding of the exhibition.   

 Experts expect the exhibition to give a new impulse to further expansion of bilateral economic cooperation between Tajikistan and China.   

A number of business forums with participation of entrepreneurs of the two countries are supposed to take place in Dushanbe on sidelines of the exhibition.
