DUSHANBE, August 11, 2008, Asia-Plus  — Association of Farm Cooperative Companies of Iran’s Mazandaran Province, dealing with production of chicken meat and eggs, (Association) intends to open a number of centers for selling their products in Tajikistan.  

Speaking in interview with Asia-Plus, the Association head Nasser Omran Muhammadi said that the present investment climate in Tajikistan and Tajikistan’s legislation pave the way for activity of foreign companies and investors as well launch of joint venture here.     

“The issue of allotment of building plots for these centers is sunder consideration,” Mr. Muhammadi said, noting that chicken products realized on the Tajik market by other foreign companies do not have international certificate.  

“We intend to provide Tajik consumers with high-quality products meeting international standards,” the Association head said.  According to him, the mentioned centers will be opened in Tajikistan’s large cities. 

Muhammadi noted that the Association is Iran’s largest producer of chicken meat and chicken products and has European certificate of quality.  The Association produces 25,000 tons of chicken products per year.
