DUSHANBE, August 13, 2008, Asia-Plus — The ninth session of the Tajik-Russian commission for economic cooperation will be held in Moscow on August 15, Davlat Nazriyev, head of the Tajik MFA information department, said in an interview with Asia-Plus. 

Cochairmen of the commission are Mr. Asadullo Ghulomov, the first Deputy Prime Minister of Tajikistan, and Mr. Sergey Naryshkin, head of Russian President’s Office. 

The commission is expected to consider state and prospects of further expansion of cooperation between Tajikistan and the Russian Federation in the different economic sectors, including agriculture, hydropower, the gas sector, industry, transportation, as well as education, science and labor migration, the MFA spokesman said.  

The ninth session of the Tajik-Russian commission for economic cooperation is supposed to result in signing of a cooperation protocol.
