QURGHON TEPPA, October 22, 2008, Asia-Plus — The Khatlon governor Ghaybullo Avzalov has charged his deputies with organizing satellite broadcasts of the Khatlon region television.   

The governor has also charged the Khatlon directorate for TV and radio-broadcasting with enlisting the services of skilled journalists and cameramen.  “Their work should meet international standards because with organization of the satellite broadcasts the Khatlon regional television may be picked up throughout the world,” the governor said.

At present, programs of the Khatlon regional television may be picked up by 66 percent of the province population.
