DUSHANBE, October 23, 2008, Asia-Plus  — Interior Minister Mahmadnazar Solehov is attending an extraordinary session of the council of the CIS interior ministers that is opening in Sochi, Russian today 

According to press service of the Ministry of Interior (MoI), the session is aiming to consider concerted efforts to combat transnational crime, drug trafficking, and illegal migration.

The CIS interior ministers will also discussed a plan of joint actions in combating other times of organized crime.  

            On October 24, a drill on management of special police units during prevention of terrorist attacks on sports facilities, the source said.  More than 180 officers of special units of Russia and Belarus will be involved in the drill.
