DUSHANBE, December 4, 2008, Asia-Plus  — Two seminars entitled “Central Asian Intersectoral Dialogue on Water” and “National Dialogue on Central Asian Initiative” will be held in Dushanbe on December 11 and 12, according to the Ministry of land Reclamation and Water Resource (MLRWR).

The source at a MLRWR said that representatives of state institutions of Central Asia’s states, public ecological associations and international organizations dealing with the water problems in the region would participate in the seminars.

They are expected to discuss water resource problems in the region and access to safe dinking water, which is a significant sanitary-ecological problem for the majority population of the Central Asian region, the source said.
