DUSHANBE, December 5, 2008, Asia-Plus — Colonel Dilshod Rahimov, chief of the operational management directorate within the Ministry of Defense (MoD), heading the ministry delegation represented Tajikistan at consultations conducted by experts from member nations of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) in Moscow on December 4.

Speaking in an interview with Asia-Plus, Faridoun Mahmadaliyev, a spokesman for a MoD, said that the experts had discussed issues related to improvement of the system of management of forces and means of the collective security system of the Organization member nations.

In accordance with the plan of consultations on foreign policy, security and defense affairs for the second half-year of 2008 and the first half-year of 2009 the meeting participants also considered ways of implementation of agreements that had been reached before, the spokesman said.
