DUSHANBE, December 5, 2008, Asia-Plus  — Iran-Tajikistan Friendship Week will be held in Tehran, Iran from December 9-12, Asia-Plus has learned from Abdughaffor Abdujabborov, an official with the Ministry of Culture (MoC).

According to him, exchange of culture, traditions and customs between the Tajikistan and Iran and making Iranians aware of Tajik culture are among the objectives of the event that is organized by the Iranian Embassy in Dushanbe.   

The Week’s program includes performance of Tajik music as well as exhibits of books, photographs and handicrafts, Abdujabborov said.

Meanwhile, a booklet on Iran and Tajikistan”s culture, traditions and customs is also expected to be released.
