DUSHANBE, December 9, 2008, Asia-Plus — The board (Shuro) of Tajikistan’s lower chamber (Majlisi Namoyandagon) of parliament considered a new bill on military at a December 9 meeting presided over by its speaker, Saydullo Khairulloyev.
Muhammadato Sultonov, a spokesman for the Majlisi Namoyandagon, said that the board had also considered draft law on medical-social protection of diabetics as well as amendments to the laws on national security bodies and higher education as well as tax code.
The board also considered a government-to-government agreement between Tajikistan and China on international automotive communication.
These issues will be considered at a sitting of the fifth session of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of the third convocation on December 24, the spokesman said.
