DUSHANBE, December 12, 2008, Asia-Plus  — The Youth Labor Exchange held the job vacancies fair, the sixth since the beginning of this year, in Dushanbe today.

Speaking in an interview with Asia-Plus, the Youth Labor Exchange deputy director Sayfiddin Kaboudov said that more than 2,800 jobs had been offered at the fair those wanting to change their professions had been sent for taking training courses.

According to him, more than 50 organizations and enterprises of Dushanbe participated in the fair

 “307 people were placed in jobs, 13 others were sent to refresher courses, 45 people were employed in the public sector and 41 people were involved in sociological survey,” Kaboudov said, adding that representatives from organizations for external labor migration attended the fair.  They will assist persons seeking seasonal work outside the country, he said.
