DUSHANBE, December 15, 2008, Asia-Plus — A seminar dedicated to consider issues related to resolution of farmers’ cotton debt will be held in Khatlon’s Vose district on November 19.
According to the Ministry of Agriculture (MoA), the seminar, organized by the farmers’ debt resolution and cotton development support unit, is expected to bring together experts from a MoA, representatives of Khatlon authorities and heads of local communities, as well as representatives from the World Bank Dushanbe Office to discuss ways to enhance the cotton sector in the country.
