DUSHANBE, December 18, 2008, Asia-Plus — Prime Minister Oqil Oqilov is receiving today a Belarus economic delegation, led by Deputy Foreign Minister, Igor Petrishchenko,  that arrived in Dushanbe yesterday to attend the sixth session of the Tajik-Belarus economic commission.

According to the Ministry of Economic and Trade (MoEDT), the sides are expected to discuss state and prospects of further expansion of economic cooperation between the two countries.

In the afternoon on completion of the commission’s session, members of the Belarus delegation will visit the National Museum of Antiquities and the Hisor Fortress.

Yesterday afternoon, the Belarus delegation head held talks with Foreign Minister Hamrokhon Zarifi and Energy and Industries Minister Gul Sherali.
