KULOB, December 22, 2008, Asia-Plus  —  Since last October, remittances by labor migrants to the branch of Tajprombank in Kulob have been decreasing, Asia-Plus has learned from Yoqubjon Sabourov, the head of Tajikprombank’s branch in Kulob.

“In October, labor migrants remitted 98,767 US dollars and 708,590 Russian rubles (RR) to our bank, while in November, they remitted only $71,594 and RR353,460,” Sabourov said, noting that decrease in labor migrants’ remittances has been reported in December as well.
