DUSHANBE, January 7, 2009, Asia-Plus  — A government delegation of Saudi Arabia is expected to visit Tajikistan on January 11-14, according to the MFA information department.

The main purpose of the visit is for the delegation, comprising representatives from the Saudi ministries of agriculture, health, oil and mineral resources, to discuss cooperation issues with Tajik state officials.

According to the MFA information department head Davlat Nazriyev, the delegation is scheduled to hold talks with the first Deputy Foreign Minister Abdullo Yuldoshev and senior representatives from relevant ministries and departments of Tajikistan.

The Saudi delegation’s visit to Tajikistan is expected to result in signing of a number of agreements on cooperation between Tajikistan and Saudi Arabia in the fields of health care, agriculture and oil and gas production in Tajikistan, the MFA spokesman said.
