KHUJAND, January 29, 2009, Asia-Plus  — Fayzullo Avezov, formerly head of the Chkalovsk head and power station, was appointed to head the hydroelectric power plant (HPP) Qairoqqum in the Sughd province, replacing Sirojiddin Poulodov, Asia-Plus has learned from deputy mayor of Qairoqqum, Rahmat Burhonov.
