DUSHANBE, February 3, 2009, Asia-Plus — Iran’s Trade Minister Said Masoud Mirkazemi is arriving in Dushanbe today evening on a two-day visit, according to the MFA information department.

The purpose of the visit is for Iranian minister to discuss with Tajik officials ways to expand trade and economic cooperation between the two countries.

Tomorrow, Said Masoud Mirkazemi is scheduled to hold talks with Prime Minister Oqil Oqilov, Economic Development and Trade Minister Ghulomjon Bobozoda, and Chairman of the Majlisi Milli (Tajikistan’s upper chamber of parliament) also Dushanbe Mayor Mahmadsaid Ubaidulloyev, the MFA spokesman Davlat Nazriyev said.

Besides, Iranian minister will attend a groundbreaking ceremony for construction of Iran’s Trading Center in Dushanbe.

On February 5, Said Masoud Mirkazemi is supposed to meet with Foreign Minister Hamrokhon Zarifi and energy and Industries Minister Gul Sherali.
