DUSHANBE, February 13, 2009, Asia-Plus  – An agreement on cooperation in the field of health care was reached at a meeting of Tajikistan’s Red Crescent Society (RCS) Secretary General Zafar Muhabbatov with his Kuwaiti counterpart, Board Chairman of the Kuwait Red Crescent Barjes Al-Barjes, in Kuwait on February 10, according to the RCS press service.

In the course of the talks, the sides, in particular, considered issues related to preventing HIV/AIDS spread and providing assistance to vulnerable sections of the population.

Tajik RCS head, in particular, noted that it would be good for Tajik specialists to study experience of work of the Kuwait Red Crescent Society in order to introduce it in Tajikistan, the press service said.
