DUSHANBE, March 11, 2009, Asia-Plus  — Tajik businessman Nourullo Usmonov, the top manager of the Khujand-based company Nour, has returned from Great Britain, where he attended that the Oxford Summit for Leaders in Business, Science and the Arts on march 7-10, the head of the Moscow-based media holding, Tajinfo, Muhammad Egamzod said in an interview with Asia-Plus.

“A ceremony to celebrate winners of Awards of Europe was held on sidelines of the Oxford Summit,” said Egamzod, “By decision of the nominating committee of the European Business Assembly (EBA) Nourullo Usmonov was awarded the Queen Victoria Commemorative Medal.”

Queen Victoria Commemorative Medal is one of international awards established by European Business Assembly (Oxford, United Kingdom).  EBA established the following international awards: Best Enterprise of Europe; International Socrates Award; United Europe Award; European Quality Award; and Queen Victoria Commemorative Medal.  The main objectives are to promote European leaders and to strengthen international economic, scientific and cultural relations as well as to promote European integration.  Personalities, politicians as well as public figures, businessmen, scientists and artists are presented with EBA International Awards for their achievements in and contributions to today’s society
